This document is meant for anyone looking to scan a document to their email or OneDrive from a Pharos Secure Printer
Before You Start
- GCC ID Badge that is enabled through Pharos Secure Printing
Steps
- Badge Into a Pharos Secure Printer

Press “Scan Document”
- Scan to Email (you can only email yourself)

Press One Drive
- Authorization Required

Click Dismiss and Sign out of printer
- Check Your email and approve Authentication from Pharos

Click on green 'Authorize' Button

Click on yellow ‘Authorize’ Button
- Sign in with your NetID and Password
- End Screen. Next time you badge into the printer you will be able to scan and save to a OneDrive Folder of your choice.

- Note: Scanning to SharePoint is currently in production and may become available at a later date.
Additional Resources
- If you forget your Badge, you can always use the PIN number to log into a printer. If you forget your PIN, you can easily make a new one using this document (Reset your Pharos Printing Pin)
- Toshiba Printers – Log you off automatically after 3 minutes
- HP Printers – Will Log you off after 30 seconds of no interaction with the touch screen
- Print jobs will remain in your queue for 72hrs. You can batch print jobs and pickup at your convenience all at once.
- Printer Defaults are grayscale and double-sided and will feed from the default high-capacity tray. Utilize ‘Printer Options’ on your computer before sending the job to the print queue
- Paper Refill – Printers are in or near a specific department. While paper ordering may be the job of that department, the person printing the job is the one responsible for filling the tray should it require it.
- Paper Jams – Paper jams can occur, do your best to follow on screen instructions to clear them. If the error isn’t clearing open a HelpDesk Ticket for support.
- Toner Orders – These printers are actively monitored, and toner will be shipped out before replacement is needed. Should you require emergency toner please Open a HelpDesk Ticket.
