myGCC Password Reset

What Is It?

The Reset myGCC Password service allows users to reset their password for accessing GCC systems, including email, Blackboard, and other institutional resources.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

This service is available to all students, faculty, and staff with a GCC account.

Where Can I Get It?

Reset Your Password

  • Click the Reset Password button on the right side of this page
  • Enter your GCC username in the format: NetID@genesee.edu.
    • Note for Faculty/Staff: Your NetID is distinct from your email address. While they look similar, your email is never used to log in to any GCC system. Always use NetID@genesee.edu as your username when logging in.

Additional Resources

  • Student Email accounts are created 24 hours AFTER you register for a class. 
  • Student Email accounts are deleted 12 months after your last class.
