Temp Account Request

What Is It?

This service allows past students whose accounts are no longer active to request a temporary account for accessing transcripts.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Former students who no longer have an active myGCC account and need to access or order transcripts.

Where Can I Get It?

  1. Request a Temporary Account

    • For fastest results, call the 24/7 Helpdesk at 585-343-0055 x6227.

      • Note: This request requires identity validation and cannot be completed via the ticketing system.
    • If you prefer a callback during business hours, use the Request Service button on the right-hand side of this page to submit a request.

  2. Ordering Transcripts

    • For Current Students and Recent Graduates (with active myGCC account):

      • Log in to myGCC.
      • Navigate to My Dashboard.
      • Select Request Transcript under the Student Records Access menu.
      • Follow the instructions to place an order.
    • For Former Students (without a myGCC account):

      • Visit the Transcript Ordering Services.
      • Follow the instructions to place an official/unofficial transcript order.
      • You will need to sign a consent form for transcript requests without a myGCC account.
  3. Additional Notes

    • Records before 1995: Students who attended GCC prior to 1995 may not have electronic records available. Requests for these dates may require additional processing time.
    • Unofficial Transcripts: Current students and recent graduates can view unofficial transcripts by logging in to myGCC, navigating to My Dashboard, and selecting View Transcript under the Student Records Access menu.
    • Student Email accounts are created 24 hours AFTER you register for a class. 
    • Student Email accounts are deleted 12 months after your last class.
