Summary
This article explains how authorized Genesee Community College (GCC) users can sign in to Minitab online or download and install the Minitab desktop application using their NetID@genesee.edu credentials.
Before You Start
Before proceeding, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- You are an registered GCC student
- Students should confirm with the faculty member teaching a course where Minitab is required (e.g., MAT129)
- You know your NetID@genesee.edu username and password
- You are using a Windows computer
- Minitab is not available for macOS, Chromebook, iOS, or Android
- You have permission to install software on your device
- If you are using a college-owned computer, this may already be installed in campus computer labs
Note: MAT129 students, assignments must be done in the downloaded version of Minitab, the web version does not have the features required of your assignments
Steps
- Open a web browser and go to
Minitab Licensing Portal
- Sign in with your NetID@genesee.edu and password

- Select "Genesee" from the drop down list

- Under "My Products" click "Minitab Solution Center"

- Select "Download Desktop App"

- Launch the installer that was downloaded and follow on screen instructions to complete install.
Additional Notes
- Minitab is only available on Windows
- If you do not have a personal Windows computer, Minitab is available in GCC computer labs
