How to access GCCPlanning

Before You Start

GCCPlanning is a Strategic Plan Goal Management Tool, used for identifying, tracking, and reporting goal efforts supporting GCC's strategic plan.

NOTE: Everyone can access the GCCPlanning site to see and generate reports. But unless a user has credentials, they cannot make any changes, enter goals, or access any documents uploaded into the system.

Steps 

 

Steps to access GCCPlanning

1. Access GCCPlanning by either:
   1. Navigating via its URL: GCCPlanning -or-
   2. From myGCC, navigating to the Institutional Effectiveness top-level tab. From its Planning sub tab, scroll down to section Strategic Plan Reporting: GCC Planning and click the GCC Planning Tool button.
2. While everyone can view GCCPlanning reports ONLY credentialed users can log on to GCCPlanning to create/maintain goals.

   2. To log on to GCCPlanning, click the Login menu item on the GCCPlanning landing page.

   3. If your Division Leader and Manager have assigned you responsibility to create and maintain goals in the GCCPlanning Tool, send an email to GCCPlanning@genesee.edu requesting access.

If you get lost within GCCPlanning

If you get lost within GCCPlanning, you can return to the GCCPlanning Landing Page by clicking on “Genesee Community College” in the black toolbar.

Logging Out

1. Click on the “Logout” tab to logout of GCCPlanning.

2. You will be presented with a pop-up window asking you to confirm you want to log out.  Click on the presented “log out” link to proceed with logging out.

3. You are now logged out and can close the browser window.
