Before You Start
Be aware that there are various "generations" of audio-video systems from room to room. The most common are:
- Extron presentation control box in the room's AV rack, in which the source to display (e.g., computer, laptop, document camera) is selected by pressing a button on the Extron box-- In most cases, the instructor PC is source/button 2. Power the projector ON/OFF with a separate remote.
- Crestron presentation control system with 7" or 10" tabletop or mounted Crestron touch screen. Most of these rooms are HyFlex equipped, with microphones and wall cameras.
- Manual presentation control (TV or Projector handheld remote).
