Viewing EOP Information in GSI

Summary

This article describes how to run several reports in GSI for information using the EOP indicator. 

Before You Start

To get started, ensure that you have the following:

  1. A valid NetID@genesee.edu email address: This is typically assigned to students, faculty, and staff at Genesee Community College.

  2. Access to a computer that is connected to the Internet.

  3. You will need access to GSI. These steps will help you log in. 

Steps 

Outcomes 

  1. Navigate to Institutional Research > Factbook - Outcomes > Fall Student Success Snapshot for ProgramImage of Fall Student Success Snapshot tab
  2. You can leave the prompts as they are, or you can select the program, full- or part-time status, and degree type sought as a freshman.Image of prompts you can select.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page. The table at the bottom displays percentage rates by default. Sort by term to show the most recent term at the top. Image of how to sort descending on the table.
  4. Now choose EOP from the Select a Student Demographic dropdown.Image of how to select the EOP from the demographic dropdown menu option.
  5. The report will now show information on EOP students and Non-EOP students. Image of percentages for EOP vs non-EOP students.

Factbook - Enrollment 

  1. Navigate to Factbook - Enrollments > Term EnrollmentImage of Factbook > Term Enrollment tab
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see a section called Term Enrollment. Image of demographic prompts on term enrollment tab.
  3. Change terms, census/final, or full-time and part-time status in the prompts, if desired. Click apply.Image of prompts on term enrollment tab.
  4. In the Select a Student Demographic menu option, select EOP. You can select up to two other demographics in the other menu options. The table will update with the selected results.Image of EOP selected on the demographics dropdown menu.
