Before You Start

- Active GCC Faculty/Staff or Student account: You must have an active Genesee Community College (GCC) Faculty/Staff or Student account. This guide is specifically tailored for users with a NetID@genesee.edu login.
Steps
Assuming you're already inside the Outlook application:

Create a New Email: From the Home tab in your Outlook application, click on "New Email". This will open a new window where you can compose your message.

Navigate to the Options Toolbar: In the new email window, find and click on the "Options" tab in the toolbar.

Select the Encrypt Menu: In the Options toolbar, locate and click the "Encrypt" menu.

Choose Encrypt-Only Option: In the Encrypt menu, select the "Encrypt-Only" option. This choice will encrypt the entire content of the email, making it accessible only to the intended recipient.
- Compose and Send your Email: Now that your email is set to be encrypted, you can compose your email as usual. After writing your message, adding recipients, and attaching any necessary files, click "Send". Your email will now be sent with an added layer of encryption.
