Overview
You may be expecting a message on your office phone while away from your desk for an extended period of time. You can access your voicemail from any phone, on-campus or remotely.
Procedure
From campus phone:
- Dial 6400, or press the "Message" button on your telephone, if so equipped.
- Enter the four digit extension of the mailbox (e.g. 1234, usually your extension number) then #. If at your own telephone, you can just press #.
- Enter the passcode for the mailbox.
- Press 2 to play messages.
- Press 76 to delete messages.
Out of Office:
- Dial the campus main line, (585) 343-0055 or (866) 225-5422 for long distance.
- When you hear the musical notes played by the phone system, dial 6400.
- Follow from step 2 onward in the on campus directions to log in and use voicemail.
Troubleshooting
Please ensure your information (mailbox number and password) is correct to access your voicemail. You can request a password reset if neccesary here.
