Summary
The projection and audio system for the Forum are controlled from a system located in the metal cage mounted on the north pillar on the stage. This document explains how to operate the system.
Before You Start
- The AV system is located inside a metal cage mounted on the north pillar on the Forum stage
- You will need to contact MATS or Campus Safety to unlock the cage
- The system includes a micro PC with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Click the Enter button on the keyboard to access the PC's desktop. No login credentials required. Click the Logoff icon the log out of the PC when done
- Alternatively, you may connect external devices via HDMI or 3.5mm audio cable
- The directions provided below are also printed and hanging from the cage door, for your reference.

Steps
Follow these steps to power the system ON and OFF, select or change input source, and adjust the volume.

Swipe up on the caret at the bottom of the touch screen. Note the volume control icons in the lower right- mute, lower, higher

Tap the Present icon

Tap the icon for the desired input source. PC for the on-board computer. Wall Plate activates the HDMI and 3.5mm audio ports. Tapping either icon will power the projector ON.

To change input source, tape Presentation Types in upper left, then make you choice. To initiate shutdown of the system, swipe down from the top-center of the screen.

A toolbar will appear briefly. Tap the universal power ON/OFF icon on the far-left. If the toolbar disappears before you tap, swipe down from the top again.

To finalize system shutdown, tap the Shut Down icon on the bottom. To cancel shutdown, tap the Continue Use icon and proceed to select an input source.

NOTE: A handheld microphone and a wireless microphone are available in the inner stage closet on the south end of the stage. Look in the charger on top of the AV rack. Please return microphones to this charger—insert carefully and firmly so they will recharge.
